Pam has worked as a Lawyer in both the private and public sectors and has over 25 years’ experience providing legal advice to a variety of clients including the police, local authorities, an estate agent, academia and schools.

Some highlights of Pam’s experience:

  • Pam currently oversees the Schools’ Legal Advice Helpline and is passionate about ensuring that schools are given practical legal advice on all the legal issues they face. The Helpline provides an excellent facility which allows schools to obtain legal advice directly from lawyers with expertise across a huge range of legal disciplines.
  • The Helpline provides a jewel in the crown for First North Law in providing a single point of contact for all schools to receive timely legal advice. The Helpline is supported by a range of lawyers whom specialise in providing advice to schools in order to provide quick turnaround times for school clients whose queries cover all areas of law.  The Helpline consistently receives excellent feedback from its school clients and continues to go from strength to strength.
  • Pam’s previous roles have covered a variety of legal work in the private and the public sector. Pam has over 20 years’ experience as an employment lawyer, dealing with everything from unfair dismissal to discrimination, but also has experience in a number of other areas of law, including licensing and civil litigation, with advocacy experience in magistrates and county courts, Employment Tribunals and Local Authority Committees.
  • Pam has considerable experience of providing education law advice, both immediately and over the telephone and in writing. This expertise includes advising in relation to special education needs and information governance law.
